Ghebremedhin Haile has an MBA and BA degrees in Management with more than 32 years of work experience as a consultant, trainer and senior lecturer of management at the University of Asmara, Eritrea. He has more than 13 years of work experience at the University of Asmara, first as a lecturer (1983-1990) and then as head of the department of Business Management and Public Administration (1991-1996). He has carried out extensive training and consulting assignments for a wide range of organisations including UN Agencies and other international development or humanitarian organisations, government ministries, local government, International and national non-governmental organisations, and private enterprises. He has considerable knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods as a result of long years of consultancy experience in a wide range of areas including baseline surveys, situation analysis for policy development, livelihood assessment, project/programme evaluation and reviews, institutional assessment, etc. He is also one of the founding member and Director of Academic affairs of SMAP.
